This time, for our fantastic Business Partner (an international e-commerce company) we are recruiting for the position of:
QA TEAM LEAD – Wroclaw, Remotely 100%
Intro:
We are looking for a talented and experienced QA Engineer / QA Team Lead, who will work in large, international project of a new e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate is someone who actively looks for optimal solutions and is able to solve problems. As a member of the IT leadership, you will develop product strategy bringing value to the testing area.
Responsibilities:
- Leading a team of QA Engineers (6 people now, but 14 are already budgeted)
- Cooperation with Product Owners in defining the scope of tests
- Creation of scenarios and test cases
- Performing manual tests and automated in the future (technologies are not specified yet – we are waiting for you)
- Creation of test documentation
- Co-creation of a culture of knowledge and experience sharing
- Being part of the full process of software development (Lean / Scrumban)
- Estimated ratio of lead to QA tasks execution time is 50/50
Expectations (knowledge / experience / skills):
Knowledge and Experience:
- Commercial experience on similar role (including leading a team of QA Engineers)
- Experience in testing APIs and microservices
- Experience in test automation of web applications or distributed applications
- Very good understanding of the correlation between testing processes and software development
- Practical knowledge of tools supporting tests
- Understanding of SCRUM and experience in working in SCRUM / Agile teams
- Great verbal and written communication in English
- Understanding of e-commerce domain
Technology and organisational stack:
- Architecture: distributed, based on AWS and microservices
- Backend: Go
- Frontend: ES6/Typescript
- React, JSS, Jest, puppeteer
- Git, REST API, Webpack
- Docker, kubernetes
- SCRUM, Continuous Delivery
- Testing tools: depending on you!
