Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure) – Remotely 80-100% or Wroclaw, PL
Intro:
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join an international technology organization working on a long-term platform and application modernization program.
This role combines hands-on engineering, CI/CD development, and cloud infrastructure support within a structured enterprise environment. You will contribute to technical improvements and DevOps best practices while working within a roadmap defined by leadership teams.
The position is well suited for a senior engineer who enjoys designing solutions, collaborating across teams, and gradually modernizing existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement DevOps and CI/CD solutions aligned with project requirements and agreed priorities
- Support, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for Windows applications
- Contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps practices and tooling
- Use JIRA as a primary tool for: task tracking and status updates, time tracking, technical documentation and communication
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to ensure reliable delivery
- Support cloud infrastructure in Azure and AWS environments
- Participate in the gradual modernization of legacy systems
Key Requirements:
Must-have skills (Core Requirements):
- 4+ years in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role
- Several years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in complex environments
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling, including: Azure DevOps pipelines, GitHub Actions
- Experience supporting Windows-based applications
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms: Azure (virtual machines, networking), AWS (EC2, VPC, S3)
- Experience working with task tracking tools such as JIRA and understanding the importance of documentation and reporting
- Ability to design solutions within existing architectural and roadmap constraints
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
- Good verbal and written communication in English and Polish
- Preferred B2B contract with a self-employed person registered within the European Union
Nice-to-have / Growth areas (You don’t need these yet — we’ll help you learn):
- Experience building or significantly extending CI/CD pipelines
- Participation in platform or tooling migrations (e.g. GitHub ↔ Azure DevOps)
- Exposure to cloud modernization or transformation projects
- Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments
Education and Certification:
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Cloud or DevOps-related certifications (Azure, AWS, CI/CD) are a plus

- Salary: up to approx. PLN 400k + VAT per year
