Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure) – Remotely 80-100% or Wroclaw, PL
Intro:
You’ll join a skilled and supportive DevOps team that values automation, knowledge sharing, and pragmatic problem-solving. In this role, you’ll take ownership of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD processes, ensuring that applications remain secure, scalable, and reliable. We’re looking for someone with solid experience in Azure and modern DevOps practices — but we also remain open to candidates who bring broader expertise and a strong drive to learn and improve.
This role is dedicated to engineers with > 4 years of experience (with technologies directly related to the role).

We’re looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join a fast-growing, product-driven SaaS company. This is a senior-level role where you will take ownership of building and maintaining modern infrastructure, driving automation, and supporting development teams in delivering reliable, scalable applications.
You will be part of a cross-functional environment, working closely with developers, QA, security, and operations. We value engineers who combine strong technical expertise with pragmatic problem-solving, clear communication, and a mindset of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- What you’ll do day-to-day:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Build and manage development and QA environments to support agile teams.
- Collaborate with developers to embed DevOps practices into the SDLC.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Azure Monitor, App Insights, Grafana, Datadog, SonarQube).
- Automate operational tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Azure CLI).
- Support containerized applications (Azure Kubernetes Service).
- Drive improvements in deployment automation, system reliability, and incident response.
- Monitor and optimize cloud resource usage and costs.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of DevOps excellence.
Key Requirements:
- Must-have skills (Core Requirements):
- 4+ years in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role
- Solid hands-on experience with Azure services (AKS, Azure AD, Key Vault, App Services, Functions, Front Door, Virtual Networks)
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline design and troubleshooting for .NET and mobile applications
- Experience with .NET deployments and SQL Server in both cloud and on-prem environments
- Strong background in containerization and Kubernetes orchestration
- Good knowledge of monitoring/observability tools and practices
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Experience in Agile/Scrum teams and cross-functional collaboration
- Good understanding of traffic management (proxies, load balancers)
- Good verbal and written communication in English and Polish
- Preferred B2B contract with a self-employed person registered within the European Union
- Nice-to-have / Growth areas (You don’t need these yet — we’ll help you learn):
- Database administration and troubleshooting
- Experience with configuration management (Ansible, Chef, DSC)
- Knowledge of security best practices, Zero Trust, or DevSecOps
- Previous experience leading a DevOps team or acting as a technical lead
Education and Certification:
- University degree in the field of computer science (or several years of commercial experience)

- Salary: up to approx. PLN 400k + VAT per year
